Every cookie and local-storage key Mivia Sign sets, and what each is for.
What we set
Mivia Sign uses a small number of cookies and browser
localStorage keys. We do not use
advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or
third-party analytics that profile you individually.
Cookies

better-auth.session_token— strictly necessary. Signed session cookie, HTTP-only, set by the Better Auth library when you log in. Used to keep you signed in. Expires at the end of the session or when you log out. - Other
better-auth.*cookies — strictly necessary. Auxiliary cookies used by Better Auth for CSRF protection and session rotation.
Local storage
We store a handful of values in browser
localStorage to make the app feel instant
on return visits. None of these contain credentials or
payment information.

mivia-tier— your current subscription tier ("free"or"premium"). Read on page load to show the correct UI before the session fetch returns. -
mivia-seed— the string used to generate your typographic-face avatar (your display name, or email local-part when no name is set). Read on page load so the avatar paints immediately. -
mivia-name— your display name. Read on page load so the nav menu and account form prefill without waiting for the server. -
mivia-email— your email. Read on page load so the nav menu and account subtitle render immediately.
All four local-storage keys are cleared on logout.
Third-party cookies

Your controls
- Log out to clear session cookies and local-storage hints.
- Your browser's settings let you block, restrict, or delete cookies at any time. Blocking the strictly-necessary auth cookies will log you out.
- Private / Incognito browsing isolates all of the above — nothing persists when you close the window.
Changes
We'll update this page whenever the inventory changes. Material changes will be announced alongside updates to the Privacy Policy.
